Langston Hughes remains a literary giant. He emerged from a troubled childhood with creativity and grace. Grandmama Said provides the audience with a glimpse of his boyhood in a whimsical tale with music. I’m so proud of this collaborative work with the original piano arrangement by Eric Katz.
